BAKE AND BRING!
A new service is available for couples wanting to bake their own wedding cakes or have them baked by friends or loved ones. This service is available for fruit cakes only, due to their usual long shelf life.
After delivery, cakes are typically decorated with a layer of marzipan then with sugarpaste or royal icing depending on your choice. Prices start from £35 for a single round 6 inch tier.
Boxes and boards are included in the basic price. Optional extras are ribbons, and pillars for multi-tiered cakes.
*Before leaving your cake(s), you will be required to sign a disclaimer stating that you take full responsibility for the contents of the cake left and any responsibility to your guests to make them aware of ingredients which may cause allergic reactions such as nuts, eggs, gluten and other such products.
** You will need to supply a labelled cake with the date of baking for reference.
Please note that this is the busiest time of year and to avoid disappointment, you should book your date as soon as you are ready. The maximum of two cakes are booked in for one week to allow me to finish them to the highest standard possible. WEDDING CAKES.

Acrylic cube separators or any other separators apart from polystyrene dummies. These are available with a returnable deposit payable.

SET UP ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
I can offer free delivery and set up for your big day if you are within a 15 mile radius of Biggleswade. Outside of this there is a charge of £25.00 and 50 pence per mile (Round trip)
STAND AND KNIFE HIRE.
Various types of stands are available for hire depending on the style of your wedding cake. Cake knife sets are also available for hire. The cost of hire for the stand and knife set is from £15.00 dependant on the time it is required for.
A returnable deposit will be required when hiring a stand. This will vary depending on the type of stand (From £45.00 to £85.00). This will be fully refunded to you when you return the stand within 1 week of your wedding in the condition it was in prior to hire.

Traditional portion sizes are based on serving of 1"x1" for fruit cake and 1"x2" for sponge cakes. If you require dessert size portions and also wish to cater for absent guests, then please take this into account when planning your cake.
NOTICE REQUIRED.
Please note that in order to create your cake and give it the attention to detail it deserves please book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Minimum notice required for Wedding cakes is 3 months. For birthday and other celebration cakes made of sponge it is 2 weeks. For celebration cakes made with fruit cake it is usually 1 month but please do enquire as circumstances may change.
PAYMENTS
Payment for your wedding cake will be in two stages. A £50.00 deposit will be required to reserve your special day. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the delivery/set-up date at which point you will be invoiced.
